Oh what to do with all these tomatoes...

Between my sister-in-law, Jennie, and I, we grew lugs of tomatoes. I don't even know what a lug is but we had a lot of them.
It was great to spend the day with my sisters. 
And this winter when we eat spaghetti, it'll be the best spaghetti we've ever eaten.

I've seen fabulous recipes and photos of food on blogs and I thought I should share a little baking tip. If you are interested in creating an oozing, goopy look to a birthday cake, just use squirt whip cream on the cake shortly after it comes out of the oven. I'm sure I didn't invent this technique but I think I've nearly perfected it. Another thing, if you want to draw attention from the fancy sides of the cake to the top, fill the top with lots of sparkle sugar and pink flamingos. It's sure to be a party pleaser.

What's that Smell...or Why is there Brown Sauce on the Pasta?



If "you are what you eat," then I must come with a prize because I've been eating A LOT of Cracker Jacks.

Under the "C" moon I have been very prosperous in the studio. I've been so focused and excited about painting that I haven't really been taking time to eat properly, unless... Cracker Jacks for me are like potatoes for the Irish and I can live on eight packages a day. Maybe?


...and maybe, Cracker Jacks are just better than my cooking, or I just want to practice my editing skills. Let's take a look:
