Swimming Pool Spaghetti

 For Teen Kitten's birthday party, I had a brilliant idea. Fill the pool with noodles and [meat] balls then eat spaghetti and meatballs. My sister -in-law Jennie called it, "swimming in the nood." Loved it!

 Over the past couple of years I have started seven quilts, none of which are finished. I decided not to feel bad about it. I like starting quilts...so what if they don't get finished. It's the process I enjoy. This quilt was a group effort and...we finished it! It was my sister, Emily's, idea. She suggested that we start a tradition that when a cousin graduates from high school, all of the other cousins embroider a square then we quilt it and send it with them to college.
