I've spent the last couple of days being filmed in the studio while I work. As seen in the photo above, I get pretty serious when I get talk'n art smack.
It's an interesting process. I was trying to paint and talk at the same time, only I'm incapable of putting logical thoughts together while my hand is moving. I remembered several years back when Steve Olpin filmed me uncut in the studio for what seemed like two hours but was probably eight minutes. It's strange how unnatural everything seems in that state of hyper-awareness.

Your photos always make me laugh. I love the new painting you're working on in this photo! (and some of those other ones!)
I always marvel at the people on cooking shows who can cook and instruct at the same time, if my hand is busy doing something, my mind is on that. I can listen, but not talk!! I am excited to watch the video, I bet you were marvelous!!
