My new/old machine makes a beautiful stitch and it's motor is big. I don't sew well, I sew creatively. Dan Barney does both and is working on a pretty cool project. He has been making jeans for a while. With every pair, Dan makes some improvement. His last pair, made from japanese denim with a super hot selvage edge have pockets lined with a favorite article of clothing and, best of all, he drafted the pattern from his own measurements. You can do it too if you follow his tutorial.
