The older I get, the longer it takes me to get there because it's the journey is so very enjoyable. There is no other time like it because we aren't where we came from or where we are going, we are
in between.
When we take the time to stop, we see new things and we meet interesting people. It gives us stuff to talk about. The talking is probably the most important part of the trip but I like the quiet times too.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous -- thanks for giving me a refill on my much missed mountains! We're taking a little road trip this afternoon to see Sufjan Stevens in Chicago (have you heard of him?), it will be fun to chat in the car, but, though the corn fields have their own beauty, it just isn't the same as UTAH!
Alright, alright, I'll stop there next time. I keep meaning to...
" because we aren't where we came from or where we are going, we are in between."
I love that. It's so hard for me to think that way. Thanks for the reminder.
