On their way to Illinois from Vancouver, the
Castros stopped by for a couple of fun days.
The boys went fishing while we girls, for some crazy reason decided to make plum jam. My sister-in-law Jennie had done it and it was so good. We picked plums from a
neighbor's tree, bought a book and bottles and went to town.
