When I was a little girl, one of my favorite projects was building little dwellings. I'd imagine myself living in these spaces. Mostly they were small with an I Dream of Genie sort of feel. I told Dan Barney this morning that being at the RV Show felt like the same thing, little dwellings to play house in.
Why were we at an RV show? The Barney/Cochran families are in the process of planning a Liv'n the Dream adventure. More of that to come soon. Preparation for this trip is a part time job.

After exploring many RV options, it felt like we'd already been on vacation. The grown-ups all voted Airstream as our favorite option. I want one as another studio space. The kittens liked anything that had climbing options.

I've also thought of an Airstream as a studio space.

I used to work by an RV park. When a tenant didn't pay rent, the park owners would tow the vehicle off the premises and park it across the street in a vacant sandlot.

If the RV sat for more than a week or so, people assumed it was abandoned and started stripping it for parts, etc. It could get pretty Mad Max/Barterville.

An Airstream sat there for about 3 months. It broke my heart to see it ransacked. It was old and needed a lot of work, but I used to fantasize about taking it home and painting in it.
