Can non-painters come? I am really interested, especially because of the meaning of retablos. I'm serious Cassi, I am not an artist but could I come and try anyway?
Retablos are usually painting in a niave sort of style. We will be taling a little about painting with acylics and drawing. I can teach you methods of cheating as well. This is totally the kind of thing that works for beginners and not beginners. Do come!
Cassandra, I PaNiCkeD when I read (the rumor)about the class size being quite limited. A near breakdown came as I read you had to choose 2 classes...BECAUSE YOU MAY NOT GET INTO CASSANDRA BARNEY'S CLASS! Oh the relief I felt knowing that the class was only open to your Blogees. I can't for the life of me remember where I read it....but I must have read it, because...because....the end of the sentence eludes me...it must be your's to finish. Janet
This looks super cool! Tim and I went to the art museum at BYU yesterday and were totally inspired. Tim even wants to learn to paint! Can't wait to hear more about this!
I would have flown to Utah just to learn to paint adult art from you Cassie, but alas, looking a little closer and it's actually adults learning art. Bummer. :)

wow cass, i'm very interested. however, would we be painting small? sometimes if i have to paint smaller than 3'x 5' i get nervous.
