When I think about my accomplishments, the ones that have made me secretly pretty proud of myself, they all fail in comparison to the joy that I feel when my kittens do something great. There is also a satisfaction when an appropriate consequence follows an action. Sometimes life works like I think it should. For instance, independently motivated Teen Kitten spent time studying for the MUN because she was/is truly interested and her hard work was rewarded. Not only did both of her resolutions pass but she won Outstanding Delegate. Go Teen Kitten!
This event also reminded me of the value of a good teacher. I know from my own experience that one teacher can give a little girl confidence to boldly pursue greatness.
