Remember the collaborative project I was going to get done by November? Remember the stories sent in by readers that I was going to make little retablo/ex voto-esque paintings of?
Here's what happened. I started the paintings. The stories were so good that I wanted to paint every one of them. I also wanted to take more time on the little treasures than I could wring out. I thought it would be great too if I could find a venue that was more accessible so that people could come and see their stories. Kayo gallery is the perfect venue and June is one of my favorite months. So mark it on your calendars, it's June 19 through July 13 in Salt Lake. I'm getting to work right now.
