It was just a snap shot, an instance, not a conscious thought. It looked like an expertly choreographed stunt in a movie. My snow shoe lost traction and I was spinning off the edge of a steeply angled mountain, racing toward a cluster of trees so fast that there wasn't time to even make a noise. I saw the snap shot of my path. Without opening my eyes,I reached my hand around mid-spin, at the precise moment and angle to grab that lone twig and my salvation. As I hung there looking, surveying the situation, my first thought was, my Nintendo DS Flash Focus age was obviously incorrect.

You, Action Hero Cassandra Barney, are absolutely hilarious, and I'm glad you had such cat-like reflexes.
