My studio wreaks of varnish and I've got to get a little fresh air. Whoa, I'm a little dizzy.

This painting is for the Tree of Life show which is just a couple of weeks away in Fairfield, CT. It's titled Thalia. Thalia is the name of muse in Greek mythology. She presides over vegetation. Thalia means "to flourish."
It's very different from my first Tree of Life painting, She Gathered Fruit, which is much more serious with it's message and subdued color.
