I'm glad I was in good company, it took a long time to chop, simmer and bottle. It smelled so good.
I liked the way the meaty tomatoes felt and looked. It was like holding hearts and cutting them up. A part of me sort of wants to paint that.
40 pints of canned spaghetti sauce...pretty and preserved.
