This past couple of weeks I've been gathering a few paintings for a show I'm having with a Carla Jimison and Jennifer Barton at BYU, Idaho in a couple of weeks.
I was looking at a couple of paintings that I liked but I thought hmmm... I think I want to paint on that paint again. I've never done that before. Usually the varnish is sealed and I'm done. So I experimented a bit and tries sanding off the varnish and it worked just fine. It sure changed the mood of that painting. The figure doesn't seem as lonely with the swan in there.
I'm not really sure what it is I'm doing in the photo below. Huh.

Wow, that worked a treat! The colour is so subtle and beautiful, it looks as delicate as a watercolour. Well done Cass, it's beautiful!
Do you have a cat?
No A, I don't have a cat. We are a "no pet family" except for a robo dwarf hamster who sneaked his way into the family.
The painting is nicer, more interesting. Thanks.

She's beautiful! They're kissing! The crown and heart is so similar to one of my new necklaces - check it out @ http://bluebijou.wordpress.com.
