Youngstown, Ohio

A gala “Dinner with the Artists,” where I got to visit with friends I’d made at my last show in Youngstown, the opportunity to introduce my sister Emily during our power point presentation, a gallery show AND I got to meet some really great people. Oh ya...and a great gift basket. I like this part of my job. I get the opportunity to connect with people all over the place.
It's nice to see Nicholas and a few other now familiar faces. It only takes a handful of people to reaffirm what I do. Thanks.

The adoring fans at Greenwich shows have always amazed me. One rarely thinks of visual artists having that kind of fan base. It's part Star Trek convention, part Grateful Dead show, part book signing by a N.Y. Times bestselling author.

Once, I was working one of your Dad's shows, and this lady brought him a big bag of M&M's. He quipped that such gifts will always get one to the front of the line. I'll be damned if the next show a year or two later didn't have 3-4 people in line, clutching big bags of M&M's, and fully expecting a place at the front.

Nigel- it always is amazing to me. I think...would I come to a gallery to meet me? Hmmm...
It's good to see where the artwork goes and that it matters outside of the studio.
Your show is when?

Yep, the gallery scene often robs artists of the contact with fans. Friends become faceless clients. You've got a good gig.

The show opening is April 18th, 6-9 p.m., Atelier 180, 328 West 200 South, SLC. Tell all your friends....

p.s. I meant your gig maintains contact with fans/friends, just in case I was unclear.
