Let Us Linger a While Longer, Dear

I added felt to my painting. Those visiting my studio had mixed opinions about it.
The idea came from a drawing I did in my sketchbook on an airplane a few months ago. That, and I had wanted to use a unicorn tapestry design but replace the unicorn with a stag. I like the idea of fragments, history and materials. Interesting that I was talking to my dad in his studio a few days ago and he showed me what he was working on. He was using the very same unicorn tapestry to paint from. Weird. He hadn't seen my painting. It's strange how that happens.
