I lay in bed this morning, a little weary to see if what I was excited about last night would be any good after coming down from my little art buzz. That's the test...if a painting still looks as good with fresh eyes in the morning light. Many a time I have gotten over excited about an idea or a painting only to be humbled the next day. I walked into the studio and up on the wall, this third heron painting looks like saint somebody in ecstasy. Yep...pretty good. Too bad my schedule doesn't allow me to keep working today.

They are all beautiful paintings. I love the drama that is coming out of the third one, and what a wonderful thing to have #2 come so gracefully into it's destiny.
