You know it's going to be the best Fourth of July EVER when you wake up and look down the street and your dad and his neighbor, Mike, are painting a logo on the street for cul-de-sac of fire.
...and then you go to practice your routine for Fire Girls 550 South and your sister Emily has a diagram with all of your moves ready.
...and then you go back outside and the street painting is even better and there is scaffolding being built so enhance the firework show.
...and then you see the boys covering the street lights so there will be nothing to detract from the fireworks performance. There was a lot of preparation that went into this year's celebration. It was so worth it.

My name is Megan and I know Emily. I just got back from Oregon where we were visiting Seaside. There is a little gallery there where I could see you paintings from the window (the gallery was already closed for the evening) anyway it was just fun to see that
