In the Studio

I had quality working time in the studio yesterday, around nine hours...thank you Dan Barney. I worked on the painting (above) that I have been thinking a lot about. It's called Atonement. The whole painting will be black and white and red.

I also started my painting for the Rich Foundation. I learned a lot in talking to my neighbor and had to change my original design. I had a little baby girl in the first sketch. She said that most kids with Autism are not diagnosed until at least two years old. She also said that there are about ten boys to every one girl with Autism. I set up the stop motion photos to go off every ten minutes. I work very focused and efficiently when I know that I only have ten minutes to make progress.

Oh my goodness, atonement is beautiful. I really like the lack of color. Very poignant.
