I think my exact words were, "freshwater...are those bat guano dollops?" Yes indeed, that along with the catfish didn't really make this underground lake make me want to take a refreshing swim.
Then, of course, Dan gave me that look. It's the 'I dare you look' and I can't resist it. No one else down there was swimming so I truly felt brave.
