My deadline is today. FedEx overnight...whew!
I'm not sure what to title this painting. It's about the seasons of giving and receiving love. The symbols in this piece are subtle, the colors of the dresses and the gesture of the figures, especially the hands. The first figure is red, the color of passion and heat and is all-giving and all-receiving. The middle figure is washed out and doesn't have as much to give, she seems to almost be pushing away, but is willing to accept shelter from the stronger third figure. The third figure is protecting the middle figure. I like that idea, giving love can strengthen another person. She is the strongest and is the color of autumn, the third season. Her love is gracious and wise. She is turned because she is more interested in giving than receiving
I dreamed last night that if the title was in Spanish it would sound better?

Love it! I really like your subject, something to sit and think about for a bit. I'll post my idea - I haven't started my trio yet - but I did a watercolor on my trip. It has a similar feel to yours, we should show dad before he starts his. Your amazing getting that painted so quickly and with all you have going on!

So nice. What did you finally call it? And, you should post the dimensions---because, I was lucky enough to see it when it was only half done, so I know that it is a smaller painting. The size is part of its charm! Tiny little women....
