Giving Thanks


I painted this exvoto with gratitude, and with gratitude I would like to give away a giclee of Bounties of the Earth.

    Hi Ms. Barney.
    I would like to have you put my name in the hat for the giclee, and Stacy would like it as well (if we can do that with one comment). I have received the painting from your Idaho show, and we enjoy it very much. It will be mounted next to the one of my mom, both in the shadow of Stacy's. It is actually pretty cool to have our family painted by you.

    Oooh goody goody! Hi Cassandra. You don't know me but I just love your art, so hi. I was a painting major at BYU but have since done very little. Ugh, who knew this comment was going to be a confession. My sister in law is Ang Fife. We both realized our love for you when she showed me a painting of yours she bought. So, just to keep things fair, I should probably get one too. Yea for Thanksgiving!

    Dang it...I wish I would have read this yesterday. I am an old student of your husband's Timpview teaching days. While you were working on your Master's, I was just starting the art program at BYU. It inspires me the way you two live your lives, with art always such a focus. Back in high school, I felt that same way about your family. But now that awe has grown as I am now a mother with four kids of my own and realize how difficult it is to find a few minutes to paint. I just wanted you to know that your blog is read (or stalked..lol)
