Since Heidi is actually from the Boise area and she is lovely, witty and charming, I knew she must be the model for my Ms. Idaho painting. Boise is the City of Trees and Idaho is The Gem State; both of which I referenced. Most importantly, I wanted to paint about being proud of where you are from and embracing what there is to embrace.
