Flannel Board at the Museum

If you are in Salt Lake, stop by the Museum of History and Art and create your own flannel board story. The museum went out of their way with the presentation of this artwork. They made a second board to hold the flannel pieces and a copy of my original sketchbook that went with the installation.
This museum is such a pleasure to work with. The docents are smart, helpful and obviously love art work. If I had a posse, I would pick them!
At the opening it was funny to listen to people tell their children not to touch it. I hope people do touch it. I told the museum staff that I would rather the artwork come back to me a little thrashed than untouched.
After listening to general conference this past weekend, I was glad I did this artwork about the home and about family. It is in the right place at the right time.

I can't wait to see it! I am going to take Jocelyn and make sure she plays with it, she will love it!
