What's that Smell...or Why is there Brown Sauce on the Pasta?

If "you are what you eat," then I must come with a prize because I've been eating A LOT of Cracker Jacks.

Under the "C" moon I have been very prosperous in the studio. I've been so focused and excited about painting that I haven't really been taking time to eat properly, unless... Cracker Jacks for me are like potatoes for the Irish and I can live on eight packages a day. Maybe?

...and maybe, Cracker Jacks are just better than my cooking, or I just want to practice my editing skills. Let's take a look:

You are so funny. I think you should just leave the Cooking to Dan...really.

ok - so I LOVE that video! I once made what I thought would be good Cream of Potato soup. It looked a little watery but I thought - hmmm...this should be fine. Well, after my girls, so nicely tried to eat, one said "mom, are we really poor?" I said no, not really. And then she asked "then why did you serve us water soup?" Hmmm..have to admit it was pretty gross.Hennce the reason my family eats out so often! And hey, of course Cracker Jack's are healthy, come on, they're made of CORN!

Sounds tasty! I've scribbled down the recipe, I think I'll give it a try....I wonder how it would go as a canvas primer.

I can't stop laughing! I think we've all made "creations" in the kitchen that have gone awry, but the way you tell the story is so much better. Even if the kids don't appreciate the meal (did you actually make them eat it?!), they'll appreciate the story.

I'm glad I'm not te only onand I'm even more gald that Dan has cooked for us for all of these years.

The fnniest part is that when the kids sat down to dinner, I didn't say anything and just listened to them talking about the strange color of the sauce. My little one kept eating but said that it really didn't taste very good. By the end of the meal I was laughing so hard I was crying.
Ya...we ate it then had lots of ice cream after.

...keep your day job! By the way, I love your song in the background of the video. I have it on my ipod. Go Boomtown Rats!

At first, I thought the brown sauce on the pasta was going to be toffee. The prizes that come with cracker jacks have gotten sooo lame.

Oh Cassandra, What a marvelous creation you are! God sent, literally, to give me (and of course everyone else) the pure delight of laughing out loud...at times quite uncontrollably. Of course, I return over and over like a little lab rat to push play, so I can laugh yet again!!!
